The licensed version of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica was schedule to make its debut on the ABC3 and Neon Alley BY Madman Entertainment, Aniplex of America and Manga Entertainment. The anime premiered on MBS, TBS and CBC on January 2011 and ran for 12 impeccably great episodes.
Shaft and Aniplex worked in collaboration on the show together with Akiyuki Shinbo, a dignified director in his own right who has worked on several shows.
